Walking supports our parasympathetic nervous system, so why not take your therapy outdoors?  A walk with your therapist will increase blood flow and circulation to the brain and body, positively influencing the stress response system and helping you focus on your issues with clarity. Not everyone feels comfortable in a therapy room, plus many find their conversations and thoughts are enhanced by the act of walking.  So allow nature to give you the perfect setting and include walking as part of your positive plan for improved mental and emotional health.
